ABOUT THE BOOK
Do you wonder why some women are able to live grounded in the now, cherish the small moments, and look back without regret? How, despite obstacles like anxiety, depression, addiction, abuse, or devastating loss, they are able to stand tall in their world and shed light on all those around them?
It's because we are living Juicy, Joyful lives-and now, for the first time, myself and 40 other extraordinary women step forward to share our inspirational, heartfelt stories with the collective intention to encourage ALL women to embrace the truth that "where you've been does not define where you will go. You can create a new personal story."
If you're looking to go beyond a passive reading experience and journey into the realms of self-discovery you will not be disappointed. Each of our stories is followed by a journaling prompt page featuring three Juicy Questions to help you draw parallels between the lessons in the narrative and your own experience encouraging you to do the inner work so that you can start living your own Juicy, Joyful Life!

Something fascinating to share with you
I wanted to share something REALLY fascinating with you...
Thanks to the social media wonders of Facebook, I've sent out Dream Party® invitations to folks in my network. And did you know that among the RSVP's, there are 52 Maybes?!? That's A LOT of maybes.
The Dream Party's been getting a lot of buzzz...and I get to talk to people everyday who are both fascinated by The Dream Party and YET intimidated to come to The Dream Party. For example, a woman I spoke to last week said that she REALLY wants to come. But she also expressed that she's just not sure she's ready to move to North Carolina. Huh?
She shared that moving to North Carolina has been a dream of hers...but she's just not sure she's ready to do it. I offered that the beauty of The Dream Party is that she DOESN'T have to move to North Carolina to explore the possibility. On Oct 8th, she can come play with, "try on" and, in a non-committed way, experiment with this and any other dreams that live in her heart -- at The Dream Party! :)
I playfully reminded her that the only decision she had to make about whether or not to come to the Dream Party was whether or not to come to the Dream Party. Post-Dream Party, she'll likely find that after a night of fun, dream sharing, chatting with the Dream Team about her questions, and just being in the incredible environment of a room full of folks focusing on their dreams ... she'll have a whole lot more insight into whether or not to actually move to North Carolina. Actually, I know she will.
And I know this will be the same for you - for the dream or dreams that you currently are wondering about... The Dream Party is a playful experiment --- it's a space to "try on" a dream or two for an evening and see how it feels.
What dream would YOU like to try on? At the 5th annual Dream Party, you can.
And to make the decision even easier... take an additional 40% OFF your Early Bird ticket price with Discount Code: DREAM40
Act fast - offer expires THIS THURSDAY (9/23) at midnight!
Here's the quick link to reserve your tickets today: http://dreamparty.eventbrite.com/?ref=ebtn
Oh! And... for those of you who are way-too-far-away to be able to come to Rhode Island for this special event, hang tight, because I have something in store for you too...
No more living for later. The time to start living your dreams is now.
I look forward to fully supporting you in stepping into your dreams,
Tara
P.S. Playfully "try on" and experiment with a dream or two and take advantage of our Early Bird Special + an extra 40% off your tickets! Click here for tickets to the party-of-the-year and use your Discount Code DREAM40 - good through THIS Thursday (9/23) at midnight.

5TH ANNUAL DREAM PARTY® OFFERS CREATIVE NETWORKING LIKE NO OTHER
CRANSTON, RHODE ISLAND - Are you ready to transform your life and pursue your dreams? Do you crave a creative environment that offers innovation and support for your dreams and goals? Are you tired of saying "maybe next year..." and feeling ready to live the life of your dreams, now?
If so, than mark your calendar, because noted Rhode Island life coach, author, and personal development expert, Tara Sage Steeves, is hosting a milestone 5th anniversary of The Dream Party®, her company's signature event, specifically designed for creative entrepreneurs and those in the midst of a transition who are seeking a playful outlet to explore new directions for their life.
Back by popular demand, this transformational event will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, October 8, 2010 at Edgewood Yacht Club in Cranston. At no extra charge, V.I.P. tickets are available on a first-come first-serve basis, giving ticket-holders exclusive access to valuable bonuses in support of accelerating the realization of their dreams. Tickets are on sale now at www.CreateYourLifeInc.com.
The Dream Party, which received a nationally registered trademark this year, is a truly unique, "outside the box" opportunity to spend an evening connecting with the fun and excitement of dreams for the future, while also networking with creative entrepreneurs and innovators who can support those dreams. The brain-child of Tara Sage Steeves, founder & president of Create Your Life!, LLC, the Party was born out of a personal "leap of faith," and what is a personal mission as well as her company mission. "I want you to believe in the unique possibilities for your life, regardless of your present circumstances," says Ms. Steeves. "The Dream Party® provides the unique opportunity to celebrate and awaken to those possibilities while connecting with the support and expertise for success - and all in one transformational evening!"
The Dream Party invites attendees to imagine life five years into the future, and interact with others in creative ways as they garner support and encouragement for their dreams and goals. "Finally, a networking event that isn't about your business' purpose or sales goals, but about individuals-their desires and aspirations. What a delightful and refreshing change," said Michelle Girasole, co-founder of The Sassy Ladies, and one of over 100 attendees at last year's event. "There was nothing stale about this event. It really got you focused on one simple and very personal thing: "What's Your Dream?"
Since its inception, The Dream Party has connected with the hearts and minds of hundreds - soon to be thousands - allowing them to explore, expand, express, nurture, and celebrate their dreams. At the entrance, attendees cross over a 'Footbridge to the Future' and explore their dreams with:
* The 2010 Dream Team, a special team of local experts on-hand and ready to help guests achieve their dreams and goals with practical advice, encouragement, and expertise.
* An interactive Time Machine art installation that invites guests to connect with their visions for the future.
* A provocative Shredding Station for releasing personal obstacles and sabotaging beliefs.
* A "Future You" station, providing a crafty way to connect with who you are becoming.
* Plus food, beverages, music and much more!
All dreams are welcome! Becoming a business owner, writing a book, having the home of your dreams, and traveling the world can come true with a little inspiration and support. Those who are unsure what their dreams are, are especially encouraged to attend. The Dream Party helps not only with known dreams, it helps unlock, uncover, and awaken dormant dreams that may have been dismissed as unrealistic, silly, maybe even impossible. Come learn just how possible they really are!
Jeff Deckman, CEO of Capability Accelerators, describes the party as "both awesome and awe-inspiring." "Going through the exercise of not only stating my future but also being it at your party really made the future real...the opportunity to experience being my dream was very powerful." Lisa Tener, a Rhode Island-based, nationally known book coach echoes that, saying The Dream Party was "One of the most transformational experiences of my life!" Visit www.CreateYourLifeInc.com to join in the excitement.
The Dream Party® will take place at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, October 8, 2010 at Edgewood Yacht Club, 3 Shaw Ave., Cranston, RI. Group ticket discounts available. To learn more, reserve tickets, and for ideas on ways to explore, share, and accelerate the realization of your dreams, visit www.CreateYourLifeInc.com. The only difference between our dreams and our reality is experience. Being given the opportunity of having the experience of being my dream was very powerful. The only thing cooler than The Dream Party is you for doing it. Thanks for you hard work and I look forward to next years event." ~ Jeff Deckman of Capability Accelerators

Article: Happiness is a Consequence
by, Tara Sage Steeves
Joy is not frivolous. Despite all sources to the contrary, joy is not a blissful state of ignorance experienced only by the irresponsible. It is not a fleeting luxury of childhood, or the 20's. It is not privately owned by the Pollyannas, nor is it a prize awarded by the stuff-acquiring puppeteers club. Oh no, joy is not frivolous at all.
In Eat, Pray, Love, Elizabeth Gilbert writes:
"I keep remembering one of my Guru's teaching about happiness. She says that people universally tend to think that happiness is a stroke of luck, something that will maybe descend upon you like fine weather if you're fortunate enough. But that's not how happiness works. Happiness is the consequence of personal effort. You fight for it, strive for it, insist upon it, and sometimes even travel around the world looking for it. You have to participate relentlessly in the manifestations of your own blessings. And once you have achieved a state of happiness, you must never become lax about maintaining it, you must make a mighty effort to keep swimming upward into that happiness forever, to stay afloat on top of it."
Allow these words to resonate deep inside you:
You have to participate relentlessly in the manifestations of your own blessings...
YOU have to participate relentlessly in the manifestations of your own blessings...
"I have to PARTICIPATE relentlessly in the manifestations of my own blessings... "
Joy is for everyone and anyone who ever wants to do something great. It is for anyone who wants to raise stable adaptable children. It's for anyone who wants to look back on life and smile. Joy is the essential component of the creation of your best life. From joy, grows more joy. From joy, all of life's precious moments become timeless.
Maybe you find yourself fighting for it. Maybe you find yourself striving for it. Maybe you find yourself insisting upon it. Maybe you're searching for it. Or maybe you are making a mighty effort to maintain it.
Where ever you are on your personal quest for a joy-full life, consider the enormous value of a continued investment in your dreams. May you always participate relentlessly in the manifestations of your own blessings, and may you seek and find the courage within to dream yourself awake.

I'm thinking you might be thinking this...
I've been thinking about you.
I want to talk to you about something really important.
I have a sense that you have a misconception about me - and that you may also have a misconception about yourself. What I'm sensing is that you might believe that in order to actualize your dreams, that you first have to be crystal clear about what your dreams are.
In other words...Maybe you believe that to work with me you have to have all the specifics, the right dates on the calendar, all the colors and materials, everything in place, and be prepared to share your dream in one tight-concise-exciting-little-sentence.
And, I don't know about you...but if someone told me that if I didn't have all the specifics clear...or that what I want for myself and my life wasn't worthy, valid, or ready enough to be pursued...or that I couldn't actually step into creating my dream life just yet...I would feel like I was somehow falling behind, or like I really didn't have it together.
So, I find myself wondering and guessing that this may be something you're feeling.
Trust me, I know what it means to feel like I don't have it together and to wonder if I am just meant to live day-to-day feeling stuck in the same-old-same-old, day after day after day, after day... What you may not know about me is that I started pursuing my own dreams from a dank basement apartment, with a heart that hurt, and tons of financial debt.
I really want to be sure to share with you that you don't have to have those specifics known, organized neatly, or perfectly formulated in your mind. You don't have to have the vision clear and all the pieces in place to begin.
This is why I created the Driven Dreamers Summer Special - so that we can begin creating together, now. So that you can gain clarity on your vision, and create momentum that gives you the accountability, support, and guidance to help you in actually LIVING the future that you desire.
I created the Summer Special as a super affordable way for you to also connect with a community of other brave dreamers who, like you, are giving themselves permission to share, explore, pursue, and jump-start their dreams.
I want you to have the gift of learning just how accessible and possible your dreams really are - from exactly where you are.
So, I want to be sure you have all the info about how this never-again "Driven Dreamer Summer Special" can support you. And, as a special bonus, it INCLUDES a V.I.P. Ticket with your name on it to the 5th annual Rhode Island Dream Party®!
Please visit www.createyourlifeinc.com for all the details.
I look forward to dreaming with you!
Tara
P.S. Tickets for the 5th annual Rhode Island Dream Party® have officially gone on sale! So even if the amazing abundance and savings of the Summer Special Package isn't for you then you will want to at least take advantage of the Early Early Bird Special Price - which includes your V.I.P. Access to Win Raffle Prizes and other bennies. Be sure to reserve your tickets now!

That might seem like a lot. But, not in the grand scheme of things.
Imagine...
* If time expanded for you and you found that you do have time to pursue your dreams.
* If that feeling of "not knowing" just disappeared.
* Having the clarity of a direct path to travel.
* If when you get stuck, you could turn that into momentum.
* If you had the support of a guide holding your hand as you travel along your path.
* No longer craving a possible "someday" and instead feeling truly confident about where you are heading, and that you'll get there.
What would this be worth to you?
I used to think I couldn't have what I dreamed of. I took steps & leaps of faith - and now I want you to have that too. I'm committed to you LIVING your dreams - not just talking about it.
Here's the difference the Summer Special will make for you:

* We're going to work on that plan together & get you really clear on your vision and your next steps.
* At the October Dream Party, you'll connect with a community of dreamers & resources that will elevate & expand what's possible for you even more.
* After The Dream Party, there will be a followup teleclass to keep you building momentum & putting you on a clear path.
At only $197, it's a summer special for a reason ---
I promise you will NEVER see this offer again.
And to help make this decision as easy as possible for you,
I'm even offering an Installment Plan.
I want to personally support you in saying yes to your dreams because I want you to experience just how possible it is to live your dreams, regardless of your present circumstances.

Greetings!
I'm writing to give you a friendly reminder that there are just 3 spots left for this special event happening in 2 days: Networking for Dreamers + a 2-hour "Dreaming Out Loud" workshop!
Here's how the evening will go...
5:30-6:00 p.m. NETWORKING FOR DREAMERS

If you are unsure of your dreams, ready to dream bigger, or just need a bit of guidance about how to bring your dreams to life...than this playful, powerful 2-hour workshop is especially for you!
You will:
* Create a list of what you truly desire.
* Be inspired to dream big and take the next steps to give birth to your dreams.
* Learn how to best access the joy and ease of manifestation.
* Gain resources and an understanding of the power in sharing and declaring your dreams.
* Identify specific steps that comfortably stretch your limits and inspire action.
* Connect with the excitement and passion of your dreams and the dreams of others.

(Oh, yeah, and the Rise Cafe is known for their sandwiches, pastries, coffee AND air conditioning!)
